Onyonka endorses Edwin Sifuna for president and Babu Owino for Nairobi governor

Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka has endorsed Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna for the presidency and Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino for the Nairobi governorship amid the opposition’s political succession plans ahead of the 2027 general election.

Speaking during a rally in Taita Taveta on Saturday, Onyonka hailed the two politicians as the future of the country’s leadership.

“Kaka yangu mdogo, kiongozi wangu, rais ambaye anatarajiwa, mheshimiwa Sifuna. Atakayekuja kama gavana wa Nairobi, mheshimiwa Babu Owino,” Onyonka said.
